convert central locking to remote key

How do i go about converting my key operated central locking to operate from a remote key fob? Is this easy to do or is it best getting a garage to do it? Thanks in advance for any replies.

You can buy kits for that, usually they have instructions with them & as you already have the central locking then its probably just a signal wire onto the drivers door lock system for lock/unlock so I would attempt yourself at 1st.

Where is the best place to get a kit? Looked up other forums and apparently you simply change the relay which is matched up with the key fob and hey presto?!
