Hi all anyone done a coolant change on a 3.0tdi did you struggle to bleed it off or which was best way??? Thanks

Bleeding is very easy. Let the car warm up to operating temperature and then slowly and carefully take the coolant cap off the coolant reservoir while the engine is running and it should "burp" the air out of the lines. Have some extra coolant on hand to top it off. Alternatively there is a small 10mm nut on one of the coolant lines on top of the engine that you could loosen/take off as well and it will have the same effect as taking the coolant reservoir cap off.
 
Hi it wasn't quiet that easy seemed to struggle with a bad air lock after changing stat and water pump but used that bleed as you said and there is another bleed on top heater matrix near battery thanks for reply cheers
