Coolant temp sensor location

Can someone confirm the location of the coolant temp sensor please. 2006 3.0tdi ASB.

Hi if you look at the back of the engine just under the maf intake pipe that you also need to remove 1st. You will need a set of extra long pliers to reach down and undo the slide clip and pull upwards. Do not drop the clip make sure you get the rubber seal out before you fit a new sensor and seal.

Also leave the expansion bottle closed to stop it losing more coolant than needs to. If I remember not much is lost anyway
