I was doing a little repair to the wiring loom that goes through the rubber gaiter between the front door and car body trying to trace why the lock has stopped operating, I found a few breaks in the loom so whipped it out and repaired. Anyway I removed the connector that is fixed into the car pillar and it was blue with corrosion in one area and one of the pins has broken off.

What are the options now?

Can the plug be replaced or is it a new loom inside the car. Can one from a donor car be used and fitted. There has been a few threads in the past where people have found this but I cant find any that say how they fixed it.

Any help would be much appreciated

I had this

I just put bullet connectors on as a temp fix and removed the plug on both ends as I lost almost all the pins!!

Its still like it 3 years later!

realistically are you really going to need to disconnect it!!
