Could this be an issue

Cleaned the MAF sensor today as car was running a little rough on idle, nothing major but while doing that I also looked in the oil cap ( no idea why ) and found this

Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal? A friend mentioned something about emulsion and try taking it on a long run another suggested cleaning it and see if it comes back ?

Any other ideas?

Tbh mate its normal.

Unless theres oil in the water or your loosing coolant dont worry.

Short trips cause a yellow emulsion on the inside of the cap so nothing to worry about usually.

Condensation probably, nothing to worry about. I got it in both of my brand new Audis too and was told on both it was normal.

As said, unless it becomes really bad and/or there is oil in the water then don't panic.

Will give it a clean up - car only does about a 10mile round trip a day to work and back.

short trips then, as said, if the coolant isnt dropping then dont worry.
