Creaking suspension

Since having a run in service done the other week I have had a loud creaking from the front suspension.. is there anything common that happens on these ? Nothing was adjusted or touched on the service aside from oil/filter.

On my last golf R I had a similar thing that resulted in having half the front suspension replaced on the car by 4000 miles before it solved the issue I hope it is not the same scenario..

Specialist, I was present in the workshop while it was happening.

After, i'm thinking something is not happy after being lifted..?

Could be.

Is it a creak from going over bumps etc or when turning ?
Get it back to your specialist see what they think.

Hmmm How odd.

I know another owner is having a noise issue when turning too, he had it in at audi and they did frig all to fix it.

Can you jack it up and check the springs for correct seating etc ?

Yea gonna take a look tomorrow when the wind hopefully dies down, just seems odd as its all the time and not intermittent and it is loud.

Couldn't see anything when jacked up all looks normal to me. Got a clip of the sound..
booked in to be looked at on Wednesday

Thought I’d chime in here. I have a 2019 TTRS and I had similar issues. Took it back and forth to the dealer 3 times. They greased something the first time. Apparently a common fix. Then they replaced the strut mounts which is another common fix. Then I think the last time it was a case of replacing stretch bolts. If you google or YouTube stretch bolts. Anti roll bars and strut tops. Youl find everything you need! It will be one of those

Thanks, yea it will be something like that my specialist reckons its the top mounts, he did grease some bits for me which helped for a day.. so now booked in with audi for a look under warranty though i will be armed with a few things so they don't just grease and hand the car back. Was slight shocked to hear they want to charge me £40 for a courtesy car for a few days not so much a courtesy then more of a hire
