Cruise control - VAGCOM

Planning on fitting cruise to my A4, but don't have vagcom at the moment.

I read somewhere that once the wheel has been off, the steering needs to be reclalibrated using vagcom when put back on.

Is it safe to fit the parts and then enable with vagcom later?

Until the steering sensor is recalibrated you won't have working ESP, not sure if the ABS doesn't work either?

Check out the VCDS (Vag-com) section on here I think someone in there sells it.

I got mine from genden

That would be myself & cheaper than gendan but same genuine product.

Thanks for your help but I got it all sorted anyway.

Where abouts in PT do you live mate? I used to live in Westlands, then I moved to Baglan and now live in Skewen.
