My A6 more often than not has a damp windscreen. My previous Audi's have misted up easily if I do not have the aircon on permanently but the A6 is damp and takes a good 5 minutes of the front blower on to begin to clear it.

I contacted Audi who repeatedly mention to have the aircon on which it is and always on the windscreen setting only. There are no obvious seal issues around the windscreen so the dealer said that there isn't much they can do.

What are everyone's thoughts? I've not had an issue like this on a car since my 1995 Ford Escort but that thing had more holes than bodywork!

Once the screen has cleared put the climate control back to auto. I suspect the carpets have some moisture in them and they are not drying out because they are getting no heat or air movement due to all the air flow going to the screen.

Definitely leave the cc on auto and set to around 22c, don't fiddle with it, other to turn on max in the morning. It has it's own humidity sensor. Also make sure nothing wet is inside the car. You can cause damage to the parts of the climate if you don't run it for at least 20 mins each month...
