Dash cam

my friend keeps on telling me to get A dash cam because a lot cars have been scratched at my workplace seems to be a serial scratcher. But I told him they only record when the cars ignition is on. He said you can set them to record all the time.

Is this possible? What cams have you guys got?

Do a search for Dash Cam as there have already been a lot of discussions about the ones people have fitted and how they have fitted them and set them up.

It depends on if you have an ignition switched supply or permanent.

For the A3/S3 8v the only fuse which is ignition switched seems to be the 20amp fuse from the cigarette lighter, every other fuse is always live
