Dash dimmer knob

Is this the correct dash dimmer knob?
Sure the one in my A6 C7 was nicer. It looks like the end has fell off this one

Common issue, the cap was either knocked out by accident or just fell out.

You can get a replacement from eBay for approx £15-20.

Audi would want to sell you the full light control unit.

So it finally came. Not sure if it’s the right colour. It’s gloss black with a white ring. Fits fine, so let’s see how long it lasts.

You can search the part number on eBay, there’s a few sellers. This link says it’s genuine oem, but as u can see from my pics, it’s not. But it goes with my piano black interior, so not too bothered.
