Audi 1997 A4 B5 1.8t...Need to take the dash out to get mine repaired then put it back..
The middle LCD is blank where the OK and MPG Info was and I just have red lines..
Just two screws on the front having moved the steering wheel forward to give more room..
Then unplug from the back..send it off to the appropriate guys that solders a new one in it's place(a bit tricky if you have not got the decent kit) ..
Dash is sent back and replace is the reverse of the extraction ..
I want to know if possible the Ammeter light is out is that a bulb replacement when I take the dash out or is it a Diode fitting into the board..
