Is it an insurance job?
Glasgow Audi has their own body shop. Used them once on a warranty repair on back bumper where it started peeling. Paint job was good and it matched the rest of car. That was glacier white which is like a Pearl over white.
Can’t see them being cheap thought.

Hunters of Linlithgow are a VW/Audi independent specialist and are very good and they have a body shop in Falkirk. Not used the body shop but the Linlithgow garage is excellent.

No the other person has agreed to pay once i get a few quotes from different places, the small dent you wouldnt notice unless looked closely and the paint has minor scuffs but still it wasnt there before he hit me so he should pay for it for not paying attention, i could probs live with it if paint colour would be a bad match conpared to rest of car, but it is annoying me

They'll be thinking £200 for a fill and blow over job from a second rate body shop. I would get on to your insurance company pronto.
I had someone run into the back of me last year, didn't look much but repair cost £1600. Good as new.
If they don't like the quotes for a decent job from an approved body shop and refuse to pay you could be stuffed.

Is it ok to wait till monday to get quotes from bodyshops and if he doesnt like the price i can just say i am going down the insurance route then phone insurance and explain whats happened ?

The terms of your insurance will state you in should report any accidents to them whether you intend to claim or not. This should be done "as soon as possible". If they find out about the accident later down the line or the other party try to blame you or claim they could turn funny.
I would think Monday/Tues would be fine.
Personally I would want my car repaired properly and returning to pristine condition which as a minimum would need a brand new factory rear bumper cover and top notch paintwork to a factory finish standard. But that won't be cheap.

On my insurance website it says 48 hours to report it so have till about 4 oclock on monday, the bodyshop i am thinking of using doesnt open till monday so cant get a quote till then, another bodyshop quoted me £180 to level it out and repaint but dont really fancy using them to be honest, the damage is more on the square hole that is used for towing and a very small dent above it, this is photo of it but its hard to see in the photo

A different angle but hard to notice dent above the the tow bar square hole, but the square piece its self has also been pushed in and is out of place

If you report it your premium may well increase under 'no fault' claim. Mine did a few years ago when someone cut across lanes at a roundabout and severely dented my front wing...

It’s not a problem to repaint daytona grey. Mine has been painted twice and you can’t see it.

Yes this is what puts me off aswell as the last time i had a no fault claim my insurance went up

Says on my insurance policy they will only pay up to £95 if i dont use there own repair place which i dont think will be the best of places, hopefully get it settled without insurance

Pro Body Shop in Cambuslang - Very fussy and resprayed my own rear bumper in Daytona Grey after I had a minor altercation with a grit bin. Expect to pay between £200-£300.

A young guy hit the side of my wife's Countryman recently. We agreed to sort it out privately and I'm getting quotes now. I got the tracking done (needed adjusting but not been done in a few years anyway) and there's a small wing that's dented and some scuffs on an alloy. Got one quote for £200 from a local guy (works from his garage) to fix the dent, touch up the paint on the wing and make the alloy look better. He's done some touch ups on my S3 which were good (second time round though, had to take it back as I noticed some marks in the sunlight) but he did a bigger dent job on my colleague's car which wasn't as good so I'm in two minds to use him for a dent. Might try one of the national places.
