Definitive list of Bluetooth units and compatible phones?

I'm about to embark on fitting Audi Bluetooth unit to my A4 B7 DTM. However before I go ahead and buy either 8P0 862 335 E/F unit or a 8P1 862 335 unit I need to make sure it will work with my IPhone 7.

Can anyone using an IPhone 7 please confirm what Bluetooth unit your phone is working with. Thanks in advance.

There is no definitive list, if I were you get the 8P1 controller out of that list.

Mine is a pretty late 8P0 controller which has worked fine with all my iPhones I've had connected to it, 4S, 5S and now 6S.
