OK I know there are a lot of threads about this. Thought this might be interesting.
I understand that the Sportback is made in Belgium , same as the A1.
My daughter ordered her A1 in November (1.4 TSI Sport) and it arrived at Sheerness a week ago , so overall just as we were told by the dealer.
My friend in Holland ordered a 1.2 TSI A3 Sportback at the same time and had a build week of week 9 , he has just been told it has dropped back to week 26!
This is fairly standard model ( Pro line?) I do wonder if sportbacks are being put back so they can get the A1 on the street.
Still loving my A3 , though MPG not as good as I hoped (37 -39) , but this may be me enjoying the 170 HP combined with the quattro system !!!
