Difference between APY and APU engine ??

I know apu is the 150 bhp
And the apy is out off my s3 ... bigger turbo , different injectors and a map is that all the difference is ? As getting told different things but so many people ..

I used to have a APY in my S3 but i now have a BAM block and APU head

They are basically the same.

Blocks the same but IIRC the APU uses 19mm gudgen pins while APY has 20mm...

APU is a longitudinal engine fitted to A4's and Passats.

In that case the block will be no good.... I was thinking of Ibiza engines... ****** vag engines codes... APU rang a bell with me an Ibizas
