This seems a bit strange, but having nothing to do at some point this morning I decided to start thumbing through some of the paperwork I've accumulated through working on the car & was trying to decipher the info in German received with my Eibach Sportlines. Looking at the kit E20-15-007-04-22 all the info online appears to say that these are a progressive rate spring, however the TUV paperwork received in the box says that they are a linear spring (see pic below). To add to this, on German & US sites people are saying that there are 2 types of Sportline + Pro spring - Progressive & Linear!
Now I'm confused as they look like progressive springs to me due the way they are wound, however this is no guarantee of anything, and to further confuse matters there also appear to be different axle load specs using the same part number (albeit with a letter suffix at the end). Can anyone shed any light on this, as I'm stumped!
