So started making calls and visit to showroom to get prices and costs to change by trading in my mk6 Golf R.

Are any of you getting a decent trade-in with agreed numbers now that aren't artificially low along with any type of discount?

Carwow discount was pretty much nil across 7 offers so depends on your relationship with your dealer.......

I can't order until the end of the year, plus I want to make sure there is no saloon announced. Besides that, once the initial rush of excitement is over and the flurry of orders at launch, I expect discounts to be available. I got 8% off my S3 and I would expect to get close to that when it comes time to order the RS3.

My local dealer talked about 9% if I came in to see them.

However I think it's a ploy to get me using them again, after the aggro from the last car we bought.
