DIY alloy referb - reccomendations and tips please.

Hi,
Bit of help and advice needed on referbing alloys using a kit.

Went to go and get fish and chips the other night, grazed the kerb so horriblly I lost my appetite.
So.....Im looking into repairing the curb marks on my alloys myself and my questions for anybody else who has successfully done this are:

1) How easy/hard is it?
2) What kit should I use, are they all the same?
3) How do you find the right paint for your wheel?

Also if you have any hints/tips about this that would help me in getting my wheels back to tip top condition that would be very much appreciated.

As your in Brum - this might be the cheapest & best option: City Powder Coaters Ltd. Birmingham. 0121 448 7646., quattrojames has had his wheels done there & I believe he was happy with their work.

I was thinking id have to pay around £50 per wheel!

Wurth German alloy wheel paint is the right colour for Audi wheels

I tried it myself....epic fail

Finish looked passable but not great, got them refurbed instead

if you fill them yourself they wont be able to powder coat them as the filler will crack in the kiln to cure the powder
