Facelift Does 5QD 919 294E PCD module require parameterisation?

My car has rear parking sensors and I want to add front sensors. I am looking at a kit from Aliexpress which includes a new 8 channel PDC module. Part 5QD 919 294E (Parkhilfe 8K). My current module is 5QA 919 283 (4 kanal).

The advertised kit is claimed to be for facelift A3 2017 MY onwards, so in theory it's correct for my car. However I would be grateful if one of the experts out there could advise whether there was any possibility that the replacement PCD module would require parameterisation.

If your buying a brand new and virgin module then it will need to be parameterised. If you buying a kit then 9 times out of 10 the supplier will take care of this before sending. Confirm with the supplier.
