Driving along a dual carriageway yesterday minding my own business, when 2 lads in an old style Astra pull up behind me about 2 inches from my boot waving their arms around. I'm in the right hand lane, overtaking, doing aprox the speed limit (40mph).
I slow right down then accelerate away - I hate people up the back of my car. They eventually catch up still waving their arms and gesticulating at me, so I spray them with the washers.
At which point they start clapping their hands at me?
Then they dive up the inside to overtake at exactly the same point in time that the BMW who was lane hogging in front of me pulls left. I am now level with them and they swerve into my lane, forcing an emergency stop from myself to avoid collision.
They then swing a U-turn which I follow, and try to get away from me (in an old Astra!!!!). Stopped at a roundabout and John gets out of the car and they put their foot down and disappear.
How weird - is it that some tw*ts can' thandle a bird in a fast car??? They couldn't even outdrive me, and cacked their pants when John got out the car!
This does happen to me quite a lot - blokes get the **** with me while driving for absolutely no reason e.g. M25 in the rush hour, some guy entered the motorway and swerved across 3 lanes of traffic (no mean feat in the rush hour in the morning!), as he got to my lane he was level and wound his window down and lent out the window yelling at me and waving his arms around as apparantly i was supposed to brake to allow him in front of me. It got to the stage where he actually under/overtook cars between 2 lanes i.e. he had one wheel in one lane, one wheel in another lane, and each lane had a car in.
I can guarantee I wasn't lane hogging in either instance, or any of the others where blokes have decided to have a go at me - take the bloke who wouldn't let me overtake on the motorway (3 lanes of empty traffic) so when I went past 2 clear lanes to his left, he caughtme up and tailed me for 15 miles, even when I slowed down to about 30mph !!!!!!!
