Mine does. Perhaps once a week, no apparent pattern to it, no apparent problem, nothing comes up on screen, just a single beep ?!!

Is it the text message notification ? -on my PFL S3 it used to beep - on the FL RS3 I use apple car play so no beep......

Some people can hear a "beep" that is the exhaust valves opening and closing. Never heard it myself.

Yeah, I hear it once in a while.
Apparently, a message is supposed to come up on the dash saying:
"Congratulations on owning a Pre-Face Lift RS3"

Does it happen when you get in the car and start it up? I’ve had this in the past and I’m pretty sure it was the alarm battery being low. Does your car sit for a long period of time?
I think it's usually perhaps a few minutes after driving, but I can't be sure of that. My car doesn't do long distances but it gets used most days. I haven't had any other symptom that there's a battery problem though. I'll have to keep an ear out and see if I can spot any pattern to it!
If it’s what I’m thinking of, it’s specifically the alarm backup battery, rather than the car’s main battery.
