Does anybody know if the catalytic converter on the RS3 8V is valuable to scrap?

Wondering whether to eBay my old downtube or take the CAT to a metal recycling plant?

Yes very valuable to the right people, but make sure you won't need it again In the future as it would be rather costly to replace.

Yea worth doing that, it is also worth asking in the RS3 8V group on Facebook as there are a few buyers in there.
