I have just bought a 2014 Audi A3 with the 2.0tdi. The car drove back 200 miles no problem but today I took it for a half hour drive and it went really sluggish, I then plugged it in too a cheap code reader and it came up with
p245600 ( particulate filter pressure sensor (A) circuit intermittent/erratic)

the stop/start works and the cooling fans haven’t come on at any point. No warning lights but if I clear the code it comes back within a few miles. I have had DPF issues with other cars in the past but they always involve warning lights o

Is this just a faulty sensor or likely the DPF or other problems?

thanks in advance

I have read that it can just be the sensor as they do tend to go, you can by a MANOMETER and check the DPF yourself , THEY'RE QUITE CHEAP!

Most likely the pressure sensor which is a fairly common fault eventually. Just change it anyway as they are cheap and hopefully it will go away.
