Hi I put my audi a3 into a forced regen, but could only get the soot load down to 21% and could not get regen to complete, than under normal driven the soot load has gone back up to 48% in less than 30 miles. Any ideas what's wrong ?

Maybe you have oil residue getting into the dpf. This would make the soot stick easily. I'm no expert but that would make sense to me. I used to have a lot if black smoke, but I cleaned all of my boost pipes, intake manifold and egr. Now all seems good. You can always try dpf cleaner and see if that works. You can buy it in a can. Hope this helps and good luck.
