Hi I put my audi a3 into a forced regen, but could only get the soot load down to 21% and could not get regen to complete, than under normal driven the soot load has gone back up to 48% in less than 30 miles. Any ideas what's wrong ?

It need to be gutted and mapped

That's fair shout, but would like to find the cause of the problem first,a gutting and remape may just be a band add over the problem and not a fix ?

If you remove the DPF and discover you have lots of smoke then you know something isn't right :)
I still think check the injectors first - remove them all and take a picture without cleaning them.

There is no sensor on the injector nozzle I would remove them and post a picture without cleaning them.
Plus will give you a opportunity to refresh the seals.

They aren't any main seals in the head, only got the o rings on injector body,is that right ?,its a audi 2007, 2lt bmn egine
Sorry for the delay - I don't recall to be honest I know the 8v PD had them so would expect these to have them but all the kits I seen don't appear to have them. The seat area does look tappered but still would have expected one.
