Some time ago my drivers window was playing up, turned out to be a corroded wiring loom in the door jamb. I managed to repair it and has been working fine, until yesterday. Now my door controls intermittently work and is also affecting the central locking. I think the time has come to replace the loom, but I'm struggling to find a replacement with the same part number. There seams to be a few on eBay that would do the job, but the part number doesn't match exactly. What are the rules with the part number? How can I find if a part number is compatible?
