driver door wont open

hi guys anyone out there had the same issue as me? I cannot unlock my tt door using the remote, the wireing harness to the door had broken wires and so I replaced the wireing harness but still I can lock it using the remote but not unlock it. any ideas please?

I have a 2008 roadster and had the same problem. The answer for me was a new latch mechanism. Did the replacement myself with aid (most of work) from my son. It was a fiddley job but results were good. Now locks and unlocks with fob. Being retired it was no problem being without the car for a few days. Wife's Honda CRV was handy for coffee shop morning runs. Good luck with your door lock.
