Driver Side Mirror

Someone's smashed up my electric driver side mirror! I've now got to get a replacement, they seem to have driven off after doing it which is nice!

I think the moter still works, the casing seems to be a little loose though. I need to replace it and have ordered some replacement glass. Can anyone say if it's hard to replace? Is the electric element difficult?

if the whole wing mirror is still in place and only the glass and cap need replacing then its not too hard a job. pul the glass out of the mirror base and then unscrew/unclip the mirror cap. replace it and then refit the glass.
the heating part comes from 2 wires that connect to the back of the glass which is really easy to do.
