Please help! The driver's side door to my 2009 A4 will not open today from the inside. I can open it from the outside after crawling out from the passenger door. When I lock/unlock from the remote, the sounds sound normal and things are moving within the door. Except the signal lights inside blink twice when they usually don't when I unlock using the remote. The feel of the door handle from the inside is much less resistance than the other doors, feels like something is not pulling?? Also doesn't matter if I unlock using the remote or the buttons inside the door, door still will not open from inside. Help!!!

Sounds like a mechanical fault between the inside release handle and the lock mechanism itself, so door interior trim panel off job IMHO to see what's wrong....
In the short term might it be easier to lower the window and reach the outside handle that way?
You might get more replies too in the correct forum, this is for the ancient B5 model A4........
