Drivers side electric window not working*

Hi
I opened my driver side window and a loud bang happened sounded like a stone had been throw at the window the window went back up and is now not working but the left one is fine any ideas ? Cheers

Just kidding. Sounds like it may have slipped out of one the runners and the glass dropped down to the bottom of the door. There are normally two so the other one could have pulled it back up but if there are any sensors it may stop u from opening it again. Maybe. Could be very wrong. Try disconnecting ur battery until the ECU resets and try again. Takes about half an hour

Remove door card & the trim with access to the inside of door chassis & see if anythings broken, but sounds like the module or the runners.

sounds like maybe a rivet sheared or something was your window frozen shut at the time? at any rate you wont know untill the door card is off

Thanks for the advice ph1l that sounds painful will get it into a garage at the weekend
