As the title: Bought a second hand A3 S-Line 2011 good service history 50k on the clock. Not sure if it's had any accidents but.....
Whistling sound starts at about 55-60mph continues to around 80mph then dies off.
It's so annoying makes the car sound cheap even tho it wasn't. I've tried duct tape around the whole mirror and once I taped up the actual glass and that seemed to make it die down. However have since tried to do this again and the problem was back. The glass was a bit loose so I secured the clips by adding blue tac in to the bits they click in to this makes the mirror firm but hasn't stopped the whistling. So frustrated and even considering buying a new wing mirror it annoys me so much.
Anyone had similar, help please?
