Driving test - How many did it take you to pass?

Indeed. A very good year. 1989 was not so good, as I wrote 2 cars off, one of them I rebuilt, then wrote it off properly 2nd time!.

i passed 2nd time examer told me i was the statiscics as i was last in the day and all passed b4 me he had to fail me to keep their statiscics weriod i kno but hey flew thro 2nd time lol

Did your English teacher use the same excuse when marking your test papers, or did he just tell you the truth?

First time after 10 lessons. Learnt to drive when I was 13 on my Uncles farm in a banged up Escort, oh yeahh.

I had six 2hour Lessons and Passed 4 years ago at my second attempt, 49 days after my birthday 35 days if I passed first time Theory test 10 days after my 17th.

Drove - 2006 5dr Focus zetec 1.6 (it drove just as good as my audi does lol) with AA driving school.

Passed first time and within 2 months of turning 17 with only a few minor faults.

I passed mine first time with 3 minors. I was lucky as I had a female tester with a nice jag, so I handed out a few car compliments and this secured the deal... lol

Also passed my direct access (bike test) first time with 1 minor. Theorys were a peice of ****
