DRLS yay or nay?

Was pondering the idea of a subtle strip to go beside each of the fog lights. Saw these in Halfords & was thinking of getting them but i'm not sure if im honest. Has anyone done anything similar or used the same ones in the photo.

Most tackiest mod to do. If you want DRL's do the retrofit and do them oem.
