guys when Im driving along and lift off the throttle in S3 I can hear a droning noise while the revs go through the 2200-2000rpm band.
If I touch (and I mean gently touch) the throttle it vanishes.
Im suspecting exhaust but wonder has anyone else had this problem. I guess it could be the diff but Id have thought that would be speed dependent rather than rpm dependent and wouldnt go when you touched the throttle.
any ideas? standard downpipe and exhaust etc. I checked the valve in the tailpipes and it *seems* ok. Havent seen it move but moves freely when poked and vac pipe is on ok.
