My 2010 S3 started having these really loud clunks/thuds on downshifts. It happens when it downshifts from 4th to 3rd and sometimes from 3rd to 2nd. It doesn't affect the driving, but sometimes it hits so hard that u can feel the clunk in the pedals. It had the DSG serviced regularly at dealership, so im not sure what am i looking at with this. Is it the mech unit, gearbox itself or what..? There are no fault codes present.
