Dual mass flywheel

Car back now form audi. They recommend new dual mass flywheel needs to be done in the next 6 months £1241 all in.
can anyone recommended a cheaper route as that seems a lot of dollar, I know you pay for what you get, but sheesh man.

What the price, or that it needs doing. If it's coz it needs doing, they have put a note on my invoice saying, rattle heard from dual mass flywheel, £1241.98 all inc.

My 2.0TDi DSG flywheel was around £570 from TPS and you can get a reputable mechanic to fit for maybe £200 labour. I don't buy the whole "master technician" story...

Are they including changing the clutch in the price? Wow...

Have a wee look at this website buddy and see if you can price your parts any cheaper... I went to a specialist and asked for a quote to replace both the clutch and the flywheel if I provided the parts and got quoted £340 for labour... A lot cheaper than Audi...

My friends having his done on a CR170 in an a5 for £620 all in including the DMF and clutch, u can defo do cheaper than 1241!
