5th Gear really could be good but it just comes over as a cheap Top Gear rip off. They should take advantage of the fact that they have 3 racing drivers presenting and spend more time driving and less time chatting.

I really hate the way he totally slags off a car just because of something very small and insignificant. I remember him complaining about the fact that it's wasn't obvious how to open the doors in a Tuscan. So what? If you got one, it would take all of 10 seconds to have it explained to you and would hardly ruin your ownership experience.

Thing about the RS4 is that we really need to wait until the new M3 comes out to have something to compare it to.

Bizarrely enough, I'm sure he's a writer for the top gear magazine!

Clarkson can be annoying, but I do enjoy hearing him rant about something for no apparent reason, almost refreshing that he doesn't have to have a reason for not liking a car, or at least a good reason.
Enjoy hearing why he likes or dislikes a car, but would never let his opinions influence my car buying. That's for EVo to do! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Sorry to take this thread off topic, but it's basically a case of the police not getting how domain names work. I work for a company that registers domains. I was in from the start when the company was founded. They asked if they could use my address so we could register .de domains for people that did not have an address in Germany (it's required for the admin contact). Anyway some t*at registered a .de domain and was selling viagra, cialis, etc through his site but he was based in India or Mauritius. Too far for the geman coppers to travel to, so instead they get a search warrant to search my apartment and take my PC and Mac thinking the website belonged to me. They just didn't do their homework properly and came in guns blazing. Now I have to go there and sign a statement saying that the website is not mine and I'm still not sure if I'll have my machines back. We've stopped using my address as admin contact. Lesson learned.

Just finished watching a recording off Topgear, excellent and entertaining start to the show, and better than 5th gear as usual, they do get the fine line between humour and testing spot on imo. Also whats original is letting celebs taking the Liana out on the track, one of the wheels flies off in the middle of a timed lap, and they can laugh about it!

True, but this i think i just for entertainment. He will generally give a good summary at the end based on real problems with the car.

I'm disappointed it's only a six-show run, though.
