ECU unlock

So because I’ve got nothing better to do and am keeping my fingers crossed that the car is finally here next month, I emailed MRC and infinit to see if they’re any closer to an ECU unlock.

MRC said they’ve got no defined timeline but they’re getting ‘closer’. Sounds promising for those looking to tune!

Excellent! You'll definitely need to feed back how it goes, especially if you have a Draggy to see the difference.

Took over 2 years to crack the B9 RS4 ...

TX.

Will be far more focus on the RS3 though. Look at the G80 M3, big tuning market, cracked pretty quickly. Looks like HGP in Germany have already done it, they’re offering a stage 1, doesn’t say it’s a piggyback as far as I can see.

Likewise interested to see how this goes. I’ve got a well known tuning box manufacturer near me. I’ve had previously cars in for development so will probably offer the RS3 for the same.
