Egr blanking

ive got the egr light on and I know it could be costly, is it better to just have the thing blocked off

It's allready remapped mate if I have it blanked off will it have to be remapped again

depends on the remap - some are coded to close the EGR permanently others aren't and therefore a physical blank can is used to close off the EGR valve.

If it was mapped out you wouldn't have the EGR light on

I never had it blanked off when I had it remapped, so with a bit if luck when I have the egr blanked it'll just be a matter off it been switched off in the map I allready have on

It's probably the plastic pipe that goes between the 2 has split. Very common as it's right next to all the heat and made of plastic so it becomes very brittle over time. Mine just fell apart when doing the clutch! Had to wait for one to come from zee Germans

Number 12. There's different versions depending on your engine code m8. I don't know if its possible to change mind with the gearbox in the way as mine was out anyway
