Egr leak pd130 avf

Hey guys would a leak just below the top of the egr disc cause running issues ?
Below is a picture like mine

Normal crankcase oil vapour weep from the two atmospheric holes .

What year and plate ?

It's leaking out and running down the lower egr pipe
2004 54 plate avf engine

As Gaz says that's normal and isn't the cause of any running issues. More likely a boost hose split, duff sensor or VNT issues.

That's good to know thanks guys the car hasn't got any running issues just got concerned when I saw oil vapour was slowly over time leaking out of it
I'm not to clued up on pd engines I've only had 20vts previous to this car

If you were considering a remap the egr software could be written out and those holes plugged .

I may have it mapped soon gaz but at the moment I'm just replacing all needed parts so I have a good strong platform to work on ie engine parts belts tensioners brakes etc
