I got the emissions light on a few month ago so bought a code reader and cleared the code but it’s come back again a couple of month later.
Code is P2080, Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit Range Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1.
Does anyone know where this sensor is located?
From doing a search I’ve read that it’s normally the first sensor in the exhaust gas flow so just before the turbo if anyone can confirm?
Also where would I be expecting to look under the bonnet for this sensor as I’ll probably be able to test it or change it myself aslong as I don’t have to strip half of the engine bay down to get to it.
The car is a 2009 170tdi Quattro.
