Electric Window Motor Fitting

Hey,

I found this thread about removing door cards and saw the white motors near the electric point on the door and thought that it would be good to have folding mirrors... assuming this is the motor that does that! lol!

has anyone fitted Electric Window Motors? If so, is it a difficult job? and is there a guide on doing this?

For auto folding wing mirror you would need the following:
- door module (white thing you described)
- auto folding wing mirrors themselves (the actual wing mirror unit has a motor inside - you can retain the covers and mirror glass)
- wiring that connects the new mirror to the new module
- reprogram with vagcom

It's a job that you can probably do yourself if you have the skills. I don't have the part codes or anything else.
