Evening all, new to the forum, need some help/advice
Recently purchased a 2007 A6 2.0 TFSI privately, has 110kish miles, was the lowest I saw on auto trader at the time so went for it. Purchased it mid July time.
Took it to the garage the next day, done a service on it, full service as mechanic told me it needed one after showing me how bad the spark plugs were and oil . At that time the mechanic noticed a slight misfire, he switched the coils around, problem gone for the time being.
Since then have used the car and it's been driving good. The last 2 weeks had a coolant leak issue, was able to find the leak, the thermostat housing needed changing, replaced that and now the misfire has come back. The mechanic used the machine to diagnose it and found the following codes P0202/P0300, told me that the machine said there was no communication for cylinder 2. Decided to change coil packs, brand new ones but still the same issue. I don't know what he did afterwards or maybe the coil pack did but the codes went and there wasn't a misfire.
Driving home and suddenly car goes into limp mode, won't go past 25-30mph, long journey home basically. Got it to the driveway and the following day called RAC, they diagnosed it and sent me a report of the codes but explained to me it could be the coil pack or spark plugs or fuel injector or the wiring to the fuel injector.

Any advice will be appreciated
