Engine Rebuild

My a4 tsi is having new pistons etc next week (failed oil consumption test) and I wanted to know if they remove the front bumper? Needs a respray and thought it would be a good time to get it done.

I can confrim that they do. I saw mine with the front end off because I picked up my courtesy car after they started the work. I felt quite sick seeing it in such a mess. Saying that though, it's barely lost a drop of oil in over 2000 miles so it's definately woth it.
