took the car out this morning (to the doctors!) took the long way home for a good thrash.
Then this afternoon got in turned the ignition on to be greeted with the EPC light staying on and a warning not to exceed 4000rpm no funny noises, nothing felt wrong. Drove to the shops 3-4 miles. Came out the shop, back in the car - no EPC warning!
First question is this type of disappearing fault common?
Second booked the car into the local Audi dealer to check the fault, change the oil and brake fluid. The quote seemed pretty expensive but £60 to check if there's an error logged?
So final question - can anyone recommend good independent Audi specialists in the Newark/Lincoln area?
