EPC light on do not exceed 4000rpm

Just had EPC light come on do not exceed 4000rpm and emission control system warning light,so car is now in limp mode.
Managed to drive it to my local Audi garage , and after diagnosis have been told I need a new thermostat and water pump.
I'm hoping to get some goodwill from Audi especially as my car has only done 29k with full dealer service history.

Where on the temperature gauge does it normally run once warmed up?

It never really moved off the middle of the gauge once warmed up, so I guess around 90c

Be interested to know what the stored fault(s) were.

Yeh I'll get them tomorrow. Usually I wouldn't trust the main dealers, but my mate is one of the managers, so I know I can trust him.

Well no goodwill from Audi UK , surprise surprise.
Car back and running great again, new thermostat and water pump, lucky for me a bill
Which would have been colasal wasn't thanks to local Audi garage especially the manager.
