I have a A4 1.9 130 TDI on a 01 plate I was coming up to a round about and put my foot on the brake and the ESP and Glow plug warning light came on and the car went into limp mode. I was told it was the accelarator sensor so I had all that replaced and it's done it again after about 70 miles. Anybody got any ideas please.ESP and Flashing Glow plug warning lights !

Definately the brake light switch
had the same on my last car, very easy to fit yourself, just rememberwhen looking under the dash its the switch on the far left not in the middle

Happened to me, i took out and reseated teh brake light bulbs and all was ok. so try that first.
Its basically telling you that teh brake lights are not working

As benr says try replacing the brake light bulbs 1st, this is what was wrong when my warning lights came on.
