I nipped into Starbucks with the missus for a cheeky coffee and as it has an esso attached to it, I thought I'll stick some fuel in at the same time.
Now I normally Don't use them as I go for either Shell V-power or Tesco momentum but I thought what the heck as unleaded was showing as £104.9. Here's where I made my mistake. I started filling up, got to about £40 and realised it was £129.9. That's 25p a litre more than normal unleaded........wtf!
I asked the cashier if they were having a laugh and then explained to them why I wouldn't be using them again.
So the moral of the story is, if using super, check the price when you lift the nozzle as it's not advertised like unleaded and diesel is
