Hi all,
Notice a couple of times ( not all the time ) that i have been getting blue tinted smoke from my exhaust on start up. Not getting anything while driving etc only on start up occasional. Anyway decided to have a look into where my PCV pipe connects onto the inlet and found excessive oil in the pipe. Now starting to think oil is making its way round hot side of turbo and reason for blue tinted smoke on start up? Does this look like an excessive amount of oil as i know there will always be some due to the design. Would an oil catch can help this? Read the VWR catch can removes the PCV all together and this is why it fills the catch can? Am i better to get a catch can that piggys onto the OEM PCV?
