Exhaust note

Hi Peeps, im thinking of removing the middle box of my exhaust but was wondering if it will be too loud?
I have a '04 3.2 V6 Quattro with a standard exhaust but want a slightly deeper burble. Has anyone done this on the standard exhaust and is there any videos on here of the end result?
